Cox's supervisor and Human Resources Business Partner met with Mr. Coates on June27, 2024, to discuss his increasing absences and their decision to issue a Final Written Warning.During the meeting, Mr. Coates expressed frustration and declined to acknowledge the correctiveaction. For the first time, he disclosed that his recent absences were allegedly due to caring forhis ailing son, though he provided no specific details regarding his son's health.
