Re: Filing of New ADA Charges

Dear Deputy Chief of the Disability Rights Section,

I am writing to formally file new charges under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and to provide additional evidence of ongoing retaliation and discriminatory practices by my employer, Cox Communications. These new charges stem from their response to my continued efforts to exercise my rights under ADA protections.

While my original charges have been referred to the EEOC for investigation, I believe these recent developments warrant a separate and thorough review. These include, but are not limited to:

Further documentation will be submitted that includes direct communication, timelines, and system records that support the above. It is worth noting that the termination occurred on January 2, 2025, the day after this letter was submitted, further highlighting the retaliatory nature of the action.

Given the context and urgency, I respectfully request a judicial review under the appropriate authority or framework that allows the DOJ or EEOC to intervene or issue directive guidance before the EEOC concludes its investigation. The timing, proximity to federal holidays, misdirection of official notices to incorrect email addresses, and adverse employment actions taken without just cause, all reflect systemic and repeated violations of my federally protected rights.

I appreciate your time and attention to this matter. I am prepared to provide every necessary document and will cooperate fully with any inquiries.

Sincerely,

Thomas Coates
